The HT5 sounds good imo, but is lacking some in the cleans department. It does have reverb though, and it's decent. Both are LOUD cranked! Even the ht1 was loud when cranked up.

They took the shrillness out of the top end and allowed me to dial up the treble knob for a more aggressive tone, but without the fizz that previously came with the higher treble settings. WebNov 6, 2024 · I just bought the DSL5CR. It is an upgraded 5c. It gives you same features but with reverb a deep switch and the gain control on the volume . It is amazing amp for what it is. It was just made because the 5c needed more features. So Marshall did just that. The clean can be amazing and if you work it right. Sounds good dirty
